Water Heater Refund Event
Official Rules
1. Eligibility
A refund of up to $2,050 will be given to 1 homeowner who is a legal resident of Collin County, Texas and who employs JMP Plumbing Services of McKinney, TX to purchase and install a residential water heater in their Collin County, Texas residence between March 22, 2023 and November 30, 2023 during regular business hours and who has completed payment for the water heater installation before the Official Time Frame expires, and who is at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of the installation. No employee or contractor of JMP Plumbing Services, including their immediate family, is eligible to participate in the Water Heater Refund Event.
2. Sponsor
This refund event is solely sponsored by JMP Plumbing Services located at 3213 Kingsbury Dr, McKinney, Texas 75069. JMP Plumbing Services is owned and operated by Jillian M. Pittman, a Responsible Master Plumber recognized by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, license #44040.
3. Agreement to Official Rules
To be eligible to receive the Water Heater Refund, JMP Plumbing Services requires full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the final decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding, from each participant. Receiving the refund is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
4. Time Frame and Acceptance of Participation
JMP Plumbing Services will begin tracking water heater installations beginning March 22, 2023 at 8am Central time and conclude the tracking on November 30, 2023 at 3:00pm Central time. Each tracked installation will be considered as an accepted participant unless staff is otherwise informed at time of installation.
Water heaters installed before or after this time frame will not be allowed the opportunity to receive a refund for the cost of their water heater installation.
5. How To Participate
All eligible water heater installations that are scheduled during regular business hours, completed and paid for in full by the end of the Official Time Frame are automatically allowed participation to the event. JMP Plumbing Services also requires payment of services at the time of job completion. The winner must produce a signed W9 form for JMP Plumbing Services to report the refund to the IRS.
6. Prize
A cash prize up to $2,050. The actual amount will be calculated using the invoice from the receiving participants’ installation by refunding the amount paid, up to but not exceeding $2,050.
7. Refund Recipient Decision and Notification
On December 5, 2023, the Sponsor will select a random name from the eligible pool of participants to receive the refund, up to $2,050. The final amount of the refund will be determined by the invoiced amount of the water heater installation for that randomly drawn person. The odds of being selected depend on the number of water heater installations performed by JMP Plumbing Services during the Official Time Frame. The Sponsor will then attempt to notify the potential recipient via telephone on December 5, 2023. If the potential recipient cannot be contacted after 3 attempts within a twenty-four (24) hour period, another name will be selected randomly using the same protocol and contact process. This process will continue until JMP Plumbing Services has contacted a randomly selected participant and announced them as the refund recipient.
Once the refund recipient is notified, JMP Plumbing Services will schedule a time to deliver the refund check. At the time of delivery, the recipient will be requested to have their picture taken with the Sponsor for publication to JMP Plumbing Services webpage and other social media productions.
8. General Conditions
If the operation of this refund event is impaired in any way for any reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, terminate the event and distribute the Official Prize to a random eligible participant received up to that point in time. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the process or the operation of the refund event or be acting in violation of these Official Rules.
9. Release and Limitations of Liability
By participating in the First Annual JMP Plumbing Services Water Heater Refund Event, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its employees and anyone associated with the event from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the event without limitation, including but not limited to the administration of the event or the announcement of the winner.
10. Disputes
Except where prohibited, each participant agrees that there will be no disputes to arise from this event. If a dispute attempts to arise, the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will make a final decision at the time of notification of the dispute, which could include cancelling the event at that point in time.
11. Privacy
Information collected from participants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy.
12. Refund Recipient List
To request the name of the refund recipient, send an email to admin@jmpps.net between December 15, 2023 and January 31, 2024.
